Veteran’s Navigation Network (VNN) mission is to facilitate a smooth transition for our Nation’s Service Members, from military service to civilian life. To do this VNN creates a network that strives to allow Veterans to succeed through job placement, physical and mental health, and linking the other services available, by creating a network of support throughout the community. Peer to peer mentorship among our Veterans, along with help and guidance from non-military members of the community will be other tools used to help Navigate.
To support Veterans and their families across America with a national referral hotline and direct care in all six New England states, Montana and North Dakota through the provision of specialized assistance to help Veterans regain self-sufficiency coordinating access to housing, employment and training, case management, food security, behavioral healthcare, suicide prevention, and women’s programs.
Independence Hall is a 20-bed men’s transitional housing facility for Veterans located in Billings, Montana. The facility operates 24 hours a day and is equipped with a complete kitchen, laundry room, dining area, and living space featuring amenities like a TV area, computer & resource room, conference room, as well as an outdoor area furnished with a BBQ grill and picnic table.
The Montana Department of Military Affairs are committed to serving the citizens of Montana and providing support during times of natural disaster or emergency.
